Black Your City (BYC) is for Black citizens around the globe supporting Black socioeconomic self-determination and who are constructive-minded, reasonably intelligent, and committed to practicing significant discretion concerning the promotion and use of this site.

For this reason, membership is acquired on a person-to-person basis, with established members practicing said significant discernment as to whom they invite to join.

The overall MISSION of BYC is to serve as a friendly forum of communication and connection drawing our people closer together and as a platform of activism leading them onto the road to Black Socioeconomic Autonomy--or at least to as many of them as individuals becoming as liberated as possible. In short, it seeks to help us do what we can for ourselves, regardless of what other peoples' intentions are for our future.

On this site, our people will be able to:
1) introduce themselves to the people.
2) seek help for projects (businesses, organizations, special projects) they are developing--especially if beneficial to the Black community.
3) express themselves regarding matters they consider substantial.
4) impart personal knowledge onto the people.
5) spread interesting/intriguing info they feel the people should know.
6) announce events or happenings regarding themselves, the community, and/or our people.
7) network with others for constructive purposes.
8) seek a spouse or companion.
9) sell, give away, or tell others what they're seeking to buy.
10) contact their fellow members (hopefully for constructive purposes).
11) scope Black businesses available on the Web.
12) make recommendations regarding Black businesses/products/services/organizations.
13) remain abreast of significant Black-activists entities.

Members will have their own page, accessible via accessing their city chapter, clicking MEMBERS, and then clicking the name/handle of the member. (See mine--Keith Anderson--as an example.) And, for now, all info members want posted on their page will have to be emailed to me, including pic attachments, whereby I would post it for them. If things take off in the future, I may have the site programmed to allow logins and to be interactive.

If you don't want your name displayed, you may select a handle instead. Regarding that, there is a good free email service that accommodates anonymity--which I'll relay to accepted members.

IN CLOSING:

Again, this site is intended for those brothas/sistas understanding the critical principle of discretion. DO NOT publicize it widely or mention it to anyone whom you have doubts about having good intelligence or discretionary abilities. Only those of our people dedicated to the Black Cause should know of BYC.

Black progress has always been feared: North Tulsa (T-Town), Rosewood, the debasing of Black-owned farms, and Elmore Bolling are testaments to that--among other historical events.

Therefore, our greatest defense is stealth...as we crawl through the grass on the battlefield on our way to the promised land.
